Meet the Folks at
Northwest Pine Apple

Hi – I’m Kinzie,
Owner and Operator of Northwest Pine Apple.

In 2016, I was in my 10th year of working at a job I loved, but knew I wouldn't be doing for the rest of my life. My Husband Andy and I began talking about what we wanted out of life and what kind of job we could do to achieve it. What we found was there were so many things we were passionate about, and so many people we wanted to give 100% to in our lives. The more we talked, the more we knew it was time to start something of our own. Something that we loved doing but that would give us the option of saying “yes, we can be there for you”, or “babe, I just found round-trip tickets to Denmark for $270, wanna go?”, or “Yes Niecey, I do want to bake cookies with you this weekend.”

After a day of rock climbing, all we could talk about was how we wanted a refreshing Acai bowl. We were starving, and wanted to feel replenished and energized after eating. After that day, the idea for Northwest Pine Apple was born, and it grew like crazy. That idea came to us in April of 2016, and we were open by August. Our company has far exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s exciting and we literally feel like the sky is the limit. We are constantly dreaming and planning of ways to improve, grow, and enjoy the adventure.

We both grew up in Oregon and are total foodies; Whether it’s the perfectly instagram-able Beet & Goat-cheese salad, or a flaky, soaked-in-butter croissant, or just a chef who is truly passionate about what they’re serving you. We’re into it. We believe passion, creativity and variety are key to a thriving food culture and are always excited to see a new food place open here in Southern Oregon. We believe in community over competition, and you’ll often find us eating at, and supporting all of the other food trucks and small businesses in the Rogue Valley.

I could write a journal of how much Andy and I appreciate the support of our everyday customers now, and of each and every one that supported us from the very beginning. But for now I will just say, Thank You.

You will never know how much we appreciate you.

Sincerely,

Andy and Kinzie Whitman
